Why not follow the Angel trail to find the Angels on the Great Park? You can pick up the Angel trail entry sheet and map at the Newcastle Great Park Community Centre. All you need to do is find the Angels and their names. Once you have found all 12 Angels and their names, head back to the Community Centre and get a treat/prize. This activity will run between 1st December and the 18th December. You don’t have to find all the Angels in the same day. When you get back to the Newcastle Great Park Community Centre, you will also get the opportunity to buy an Angel for £1.00 which you can dedicate to someone, then hang it on the Christmas tree at the Community Centre. All proceeds will go to Maggie’s Newcastle at the Freeman Hospital who support people with Cancer. It would great if you could also make an Angel to put in your window or garden to make the trail more festive.

This is a partnership approach between the Church in the Park, Newcastle Council Communities Engagement officer, Newcastle Great Park Estate Manager and the Newcastle Great Park Community Centre, to spread a bit of festive cheer. We would like to thank the families who have made the Angels for the trail, as this activity couldn’t have taken place without them.
